Steelmade Flat Top Sticky Pork

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless center cut pork loin, cut into bit sized strips
  •  1 teaspoon Kosher salt 
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil 
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced 
  • grated know of ginger
  •  1/2 cup mild honey 
  • 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce 
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar 
  • Broccoli 

Directions



  1. Begin by pre-heating the Flat Top by turning the burners to medium-low heat and allow 10-15 minutes for proper heating. 
  2. As the Flat Top heats, in a liquid measuring cup or a small bowl, mix together the honey, sriracha, and rice wine vinegar. Set aside.
  3. Pour the oil onto the surface of the Flat Top. Let it heat until it is simmering. While the oil heats, sprinkle the pork strips with kosher salt and black pepper then toss to coat the pork strips evenly. Carefully add the pork to the griddle. Let the first side brown, flip the pieces with your spatula, and brown the second side. Add broccoli to a separate area of the Flat Top and flip occasionally.
  4. Add in the garlic and ginger to an open portion of the Flat Top. Stir until fragrant, about 30 seconds. 
  5. Pour the sauce mixture and bring to a simmer, stirring frequently. When the sauce is very bubbly and thickened like honey, toss the pork constantly to coat everything and reduce the sauce to a thick, sticky glaze on the pork. Plate a bed of rice followed by the broccoli and sticky pork. Serve warm and enjoy!
