The Steelmade brand was born right in my own kitchen. I’m a married mom of three, and I grew up in a big family with seven siblings, where the dinner table was the heart of our home. Family, faith, and food have always been central to my life, and I love creating meals everyone can enjoy.

But over time, the daily grind made my kitchen feel like a scene out of Groundhog Day—the same meals, day after day. I was exhausted, uninspired, and takeout was becoming the norm. Then one morning, while struggling to make one pancake at a time, I blurted out how nice it would be to have a giant pan. That afternoon, my husband came home with a large, flat piece of steel, and I was hooked. I cooked on that slab for over a year before we decided to create something more refined.

We sat down at our kitchen table and designed the first Steelmade Flat Top together. Today, we proudly manufacture everything ourselves right here in the USA. Every piece is made with care, quality, and the love of good food at its core. We hope you enjoy using it as much as we do.
