Believe us when we tell you - these tacos are a game changer. Throw those generic taco seasoning packets out the window and accomplish this delicious flavor with a unique blend of Firebee Spicy Honey and grapefruit juice. Sounds crazy, but don't knock it till you try it. We guarantee you will be obsessed with this fresh, flavorful recipe! 

Ingredients


(makes 8 tacos)
  • 1 pork tenderloin, cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 cup grapefruit juice
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 inches of ginger, peeled & chopped
  • 2 tbs of soy sauce
  • 2 tbs rice vinegar
  • 1/3 cup Firebee Spicy Honey
  • 2 tbs vegetable oil

To serve

  • 8 tortillas
  • 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 2 green onions, thinly chopped
  • 2-3 radishes, thinly sliced
  • 1. cup cilantro, roughly chopped

Directions

  1. In a blender, puree grapefruit juice, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey.
  2. Add  pork to a ziplock bag and add pureed grapefruit mixture to bag. Marinade for about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Set Steelmade Flat Top to high heat and add vegetable oil to flat top, allowing to heat. Drain pork from marinade & add to flat top. 
  4. Cook tenderloin until cooked through, about 5-8 minutes.
  5. While pork is cooking, heat up tortillas by adding them to the flat top.
  6. Assemble tacos with pork, cabbage, avocado, and garnish with green onions, radishes, and cilantro.
  7. Enjoy!
