Grilled Tilapia with Pineapple Salsa


Darker, colder days got you down? Lighten up with this quick and flavorful tilapia topped with fresh pineapple salsa! 

Ingredients


(serves four)
  • 3 tbs olive oil
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbs salt
  • 1 tbs black pepper
  • 4 tilapia fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • Pineapple Salsa
      • 2 cups fresh pineapple, diced
      • 1 cup green pepper (or pepper of your choice,) diced
      • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
      • /2 red onion, diced
      • 1 tsp garlic powder
      • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
      • 1 tsp salt
      • Juice of 1 large lime

Directions

  1. In medium sized bowl mix together all pineapple salsa ingredients. Stir well until well combined. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
  2. Combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in s a small bowl. Mix well.
  3. Heat Steelmade Flat Top over medium-high heat. Heat oil and place tilapia on Flat Top. Apply additional oil seasoning on top of tilapia. Cook for 4 minutes. 
  4. Flip tilapia and apply oil seasoning over tilapia. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  5. Remove tilapia and serve with pineapple salsa.
