Firebee Spicy Honey Ginger Chicken Bites

FIREBEE SPICY HONEY GINGER CHICKEN BITES


Switch up your weeknight meal plan with these healthy and delicious chicken kebabs! These Firebee Spicy Honey garlic ginger chicken bites bring a ton of flavor to the table with minimal time and effort. Super versatile, you can enjoy this flavorful chicken on a salad, bed of rice, or even lo mein.



Ingredients


(serves 2-3 people)
  • 3 skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups green beans
  • 1 tbs cooking oil
  • 1 tbs sesame seeds
  • Firebee Spicy Honey marinade (see below)
      • 4 cloves garlic, minced
      • 2 tbs ginger, minced
      • 2 tbs lemon juice
      • 2 tbs apple cider vinegar
      • 2 tbs reduced sodium soy sauce
      • 2 tbs dark sesame oil
      • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
      • 3/4 cup Firebee Spicy Honey
  • 5-6 skewers

Cutting board

Directions

  1. Cut up chicken breasts into bite sized pieces. Add to skewers.
  2. In a small bowl mix marinade ingredients until well combined.
  3. Place chicken skewers in a large, ziplock bag and pour the marinade over the chicken. Let marinade in fridge for about 2 hours.
  4. While waiting for chicken to marinate, blanch you green beans. Add beans to boiling water for 3 minutes. Strain and add to ice water for 2 minutes. Strain again and let dry.
  5. Once your chicken has marinated, heat Steelmade Flat Top on medium-high heat. Once hot, add oil and allow to heat.
  6. Remove chicken bites from marinade and add to Flat Top. Discard used marinade.
  7. Add blanched green beans to Flat Top. Season with salt, and pepper. Cook until golden & tender.
  8. Cook chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until chicken is cooked through. This will take about 8-10 minutes.
  9. Plate green beans and chicken, and top with sesame seeds.
  10. Enjoy!
