When mom says "We have McDonald's at home," this is what she means! These sloppy joes made on the Steelmade Flat Top are absolutely delicious and super easy to make! Perfect for a weeknight meal or whenever you're rushed for time.

1. Begin by pre-heating the Flat Top by turning the burners to medium-low heat and allow 10-15 minutes for proper heating. 
2. As the Flat Top heats, prepare your sauce by mixing together all the sauce ingredients. Place in the refrigerator until ready to use. Go ahead and finely dice your onion and pickles and mix those, along with the listed seasonings, into the ground beef. 
3. When the Flat Top is heated, spread the oil over the surface and add the ground beef mixture to one side of the Flat Top to begin browning. Be sure to chop the meat up as it cooks. 
4. As the meat is browning, add the tops of 4 buns and the bottoms of all 8 buns to the other side of the Flat Top. You can dip them in the grease from the meat so that they will get nice and crispy.
5. Continue cooking your meat until it is no longer brown and your buns are toasted.
6. To assemble your sloppy joes, place a bottom bun on your plate and place one piece of cheese on it. Top with some of the meat, then lettuce, pickles, some of the sauce, and another bottom bun. Repeat the top with another slice of cheese, if desired, more meat, more lettuce, pickles, and sauce and then place the top bun on it for serving.
7. This makes four large, double decker sloppy joe Big Macs, or you can use all the top buns as well and make 8 regular ones. Just assemble them as one layer instead of two. Enjoy!
